The Position of Contents and Cleaning Technician requires an individual with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills. The primary responsibility is to track and document all aspects of contents handling and processing on a restoration project, including the pack-out portion, cleaning of contents, and put-back of contents.
Key duties and responsibilities include content inventory related activities for commercial and residential projects, documenting all content inventory within structures, working on contents through the moving, cleaning, or deodorization process, and documenting non-salvageable contents.
To be successful in this role, one must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, intermediate organizational skills, experience in cleaning and restoration, and attainment of OSHA 30-Hour General Industry training certification are highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance, and climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces. They should also be able to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods and repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects.
