THE COMPANY We are currently recruiting fit, strong and reliable production operators, for our agricultultural manufacturing client who have a fantastic facility located in Truganina! This position is working in a peak production period and you will be required to work overtime on a daily basis, up to 10 hour shifts, to keep up with production requirements. Hours during peak are 6am-4pm Mon-Fri and Saturdays or sundays are required (and paid at a casual OT rate!) Non peak is Mon-Fri 7am-3.30pm with early finish Friday and no weekend work. Duties Include: * Operation of variety of machines in a manufacturing environment * Assist with blending and coating of products * Work on the line feeding raw materials into the machines * Checking the quality and packaging finished products * Ability to read work order forms and adjust required quantities and products accordingly * Blending and mixing of raw materials according to work order forms * Packing, wrapping and storing pallets * Heavy lifting of material bags up to 25 kg on a regular basis * Work with a sense of urgency to achieve productions goals and targets The successful applicants: * Have excellent written, verbal and mathematical skills * A desire to work hard and get the job done * Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg repetitively * Possess a great work ethic and able to work as part of a team * Must be able to pass a drug & alcohol In return for your effort: * Work with a great group of people with excellent work & safety culture * State of the art warehouse, manufacturing facility and head office site * Free onsite parking * Weekly work lunches and Friday BBQ * Opportunity for permanent full time employment * Participation in safety walks and learning within a strong safety culture *Applicants for the above position must be able to pass a drug & alcohol check This is an ASAP start, if you are ready to join this team then please APPLY NOW! *Only those who fit the full requirements will be contacted.
