Project Manager – Power Projects

APA is an Australian energy infrastructure business dedicated to securing the country's energy future. We partner with customers and communities across Australia to deliver reliable, innovative and cost‐effective energy solutions.

We are looking for a Project Manager – Power Projects to join our Infrastructure Delivery team in Perth on a full‐time basis. The role reports to the Head of Construction – Power and focuses on managing power project developments and delivery across Western Australia, including project costs, schedules, risk mitigation and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities
* Establish and lead a project delivery team within a matrix environment to deliver power projects within APA's remote grid portfolio.
* Ensure adherence to established company project framework, engineering and quality standards, as well as customer and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain collaborative and productive working relationships with peers and customers.
* Develop strategies to deliver the programme efficiently, cost effectively and on schedule, with timely integrated handover to APA operations.
* Prepare project scopes of work, schedules, budget estimates and reporting.
* Manage third‐party works in accordance with contractual obligations.
Your Background
* Proven capability in project management, including contract negotiation, compliance and stakeholder management.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver results using operational efficiency and commercial acumen to implement business strategy.
* Leadership skills to provide direction, convert strategy into action, mobilise resources and partner with colleagues to achieve targeted outcomes and business efficiencies.
* Effective communication skills.
