The Opportunity

The Finance Manager is responsible for the successful operation of the business financial accounts department and the ownership and accountability for the business financial systems. The role will drive financial planning processes and reliable forecasting reports. The Finance Manager will ensure cash flow is appropriate for the company’s operations.

Main duties and responsibilities

* Managing the Finance team to successfully run:

o Accounts Receivable functions

o Accounts Payables functions

o Processing payments

o Inventory records

o Contractor and supplier system compliance

* Preparation of company financial reporting and forecasting

* Monitoring the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, banking, and other transactions

* Overseeing financial department employees

* Tracking the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.

* Seeking out methods for minimising financial risk to the Company

* Provide insightful information, cashflow and budget forecasting, and data analyse to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.

* Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports, and;

* Present financial reports, monthly and quarterly, to Directors, stakeholders, and executives

* Overseeing month end and year end consolidation, reconciliation and reporting processes

* Assist with budget setting and budget v actual variance analysis.

* Management of FBT compliance and reporting.

* Resolving more complex client account queries

* Evaluating and improving existing business processes and identifying new requirements

About you

* 2+ years' experience in a managerial role

* Adaptable, problem solver
