About The Role
The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Nurse who is accountable for practice at an advanced level, working collaboratively within the unit and with other members of the health care team including consumers/carers, other health professionals, general practitioners, and other agencies (including non-Government agencies). The Infusion Service Clinical Nurse provides advanced clinical care, coordination, and support for patients receiving a broad range of infusion therapies within the ambulatory infusion setting.
About You
* Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and skills in infusion therapy and/or ambulatory oncology care, including patient assessment, care planning, and treatment delivery within a multidisciplinary environment, while maintaining alignment with organisational objectives and service priorities.
* Demonstrated ability to role model excellent standards of comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care and documentation to facilitate quality patient outcomes, in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service and professional standards.
* Maintain a high level of communication with members of the healthcare team, patients, relatives, and visitors and maintain a positive workplace culture through well-developed consultation, liaison, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Mandatory Requirements
* Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16.
