About The Role
The Drama Teacher fosters a creative and inclusive learning environment where students build confidence, imagination, and performance skills through exploration and collaboration. In this role, you will deliver curriculum-aligned lessons that develop students' understanding of dramatic techniques, theatre styles, and production elements. You'll bring learning to life by connecting drama to real-world contexts, encouraging students to express themselves and interpret the world through performance. Through ongoing assessment and thoughtful feedback, you will monitor progress and support each student's artistic and personal growth. Working closely with colleagues, families, and the wider school community, you will help create a supportive environment where all students can thrive. Ongoing professional development and accreditation opportunities are available to support your growth and ensure your practice remains current and evidence-informed.
Preferred applicants will also have the ability to teach another subject in addition to Drama.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) accreditation
