About the Role
Join a leading independent school and make a difference in students' lives! Girton Grammar School in Bendigo is seeking a Student Support Officer to join our Inclusive Education team. In this role you will provide proactive and responsive support to students across the Junior and Senior campuses, working closely with teaching staff, wellbeing teams, and families. You will deliver tailored academic assistance in one‐on‐one, small‐group and classroom settings, help students overcome learning challenges, maintain accurate records of support sessions, and foster positive relationships while upholding confidentiality and child safety standards.
Qualifications
* Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably in a support capacity
* Understanding of learning difficulties and strategies to support diverse learners
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong organisational and analytical skills
* High‐level ICT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
* Adaptability and a commitment to student wellbeing and child safety
* Certificate III or IV in Education Support (highly desirable)
* Monday – Friday availability 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
