NBMLHD Community Mental Health offers a range of specialised services for children, young people, families and older people, through our community-based services and health centres. Our multidisciplinary health professionals and case managers take a collaborative approach to mental health care by linking with their patients to work together and consult within an environment appropriate to the person's needs.

What You Will Bring To The Role
* Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
* Demonstrated skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions and experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness
* Experience working in an Assertive Community Treatment Team and/or knowledge of the principles that guide service delivery within this model of practice
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision
* Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007
* Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills
* Computer competence and literacy
* Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
