HC Driver Role
At our organization, we are seeking an experienced HC driver to handle our runs out of the ACT region.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for liaising with customers in a friendly and professional manner, understanding load restraint as per National Load Restraint Guidelines, completing all paperwork on time and in full, driving in a time-sensitive environment, refueling and maintaining cleanliness of allocated equipment, and reporting any mechanical faults, delivery issues, or delays promptly.
* Liaise with customers to provide excellent customer service.
* Ensure all loads are secure and compliant with safety regulations.
* Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.
* Operate vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks on company equipment.
* Communicate effectively with management and colleagues to ensure smooth operation of logistics.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
* A valid HC/MC licence with at least 12 months of experience.
* A minimum of 12 months good driving record.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Prompt and efficient problem-solving abilities.
