About the role
Permanent opportunity to provide high quality, cost efficient and effective clinical and non-clinical services to directly or indirectly benefit the patients/clients of Metro North Health Service. This includes research as well as teaching the health professionals of the future.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
* Manage the performance appraisal and development of subordinate staff
* Provide ethical decision making in the achievement of organisational goals.
* Initiate and be responsible for the clinical care of patients while in the Urology Department
* Arrange patient management in accordance with the best interests of the patient.
* Consult with other hospital staff as required with respect to patient management and related issues.
* Document relevant clinical information legibly, concisely and accurately.
* Ensure the post-discharge care of patients is arranged as required.
