Overview The Field Recruiter will be responsible for executing full life cycle craft recruiting and employment activities including onboarding, performance assessments, disciplinary actions, and transfer coordination. Tasks will include but are not limited to creating and managing requisitions including assessing job specification criteria, identifying screening questions, and determining candidate interview approaches. The Field Recruiter will interview potential candidates, gather and consolidate feedback from interviews, and complete interview elevation documentation; negotiate job offer details with candidates. The Field Recruiter must identify and stay current on market trends in the marketplace that impact the ability to support project staffing.Location & Travel Details: You'll get the opportunity to travel across the US, focusing on sustainability efforts and helping our teams build the solar and wind infrastructure. We offer designated weekly subsistence in addition to base pay to support and help you cover living expenses. The first project will be in Texas. Responsibilities RecruitingOpen requisitions as requested by leadership and/or HR Business Partner.Perform screening of applicants, assess their skill level/fit for roles, and route appropriately.Execute the full recruitment and hiring process from candidate sourcing, interview coordination, extending offers, and requesting drug tests and background screenings.Place, receive, and record employment-related telephone calls, applications, and resumes necessary to recruit and/or refer applicants to various job sites.Execute onboarding of new employees to include collection of documentation, completing I-9 verifications, review of HR and Benefits presentations, and distribution of new hire materials.Resolve complex recruiting queries and non-standard recruiting requests.Responsible for initial interaction and serve as a representative of the Company's brand and culture.Schedule interviews and candidate travel when necessary.Build and maintain relationships with schools to help develop a pipeline of employees and/or provide educational support for internal programs.Actively participate in career fairs, sourcing events, and projects.Track and escalate issues (example: numerous candidates declining offers due to wage).Collaborate with the Recruiting manager to develop a recruiting strategy for assigned projects.Stay current on the company's organizational structure, company policies, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.Build and maintain relationships with passive candidates and referrals.Create continuous candidate pipelines to top roles.Network with past candidates periodically.Business CollaborationBuild strong relationships with project management teams to fully understand their needs and expectations for staffing.Manage craft promotion and demotion processes at the site level to ensure proper documentation and that pay rates fall within assigned project pay scales.Coordinate end-of-project craft transfer/layoff processes with other job sites as well as project management teams.Monitor labor relations climate on projects and coordinate any next steps that may need to be taken with HRBP.Assist HRBPs to provide guidance, advice, and training to field managers and employees on employee relations and HR topics, including policy and procedure interpretation.Advise and assist leadership in completing corrective actions (discipline) for minor employee misconduct, employee performance issues, and attendance issues.Escalate and assist HR Management and HRBPs with any serious employee policy violations such as sexual harassment and discrimination.Assist HRBPs as needed for any employee discipline and employee relations issues to ensure consistent and fair treatment of all employees.Assist HRBPs and Field Trainers with and/or facilitate training to field managers and craft employees.Attend daily and weekly project meetings to understand scope and to give input as needed for staffing updates to project teams.Work with craft employees to ensure completion of company-required online training.Facilitate and lead weekly staffing calls with project and management teams.Benefit Administration and Communication (as assigned)Promote education regarding company benefit programs to all employees.Respond to employee questions as they relate to the Company's benefits programs or share contact information of the Benefit Service Center or benefits coordinator as needed.Field AdministrationLiaison for project to corporate Training, Marketing and Communications, and HR departments.Assist project management with ESR completion.Other administrative duties as assigned in order to support general office operations.
