Your Impact
As an Associate Director, you’ll support a Senior Account Manager in executing strategic sales and account management for large, complex NBFI clients. You’ll lead client engagement, identify opportunities, and deliver transactional banking solutions that drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead client relationships and provide market insights: build and maintain strong relationships across NBFI organisations, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
* Identify and execute sales opportunities across the TBS product suite: proactively seek out and convert opportunities for working capital, payments, and cash management solutions.
* Structure and negotiate transactions with a client-centric approach: collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and deliver innovative solutions. Lead deal teams to structure transactions that balance client outcomes with commercial objectives.
* Collaborate across IB&M to align sector strategy: work closely with product, risk, and relationship teams to ensure alignment with broader IB&M goals.
* Uphold risk and compliance standards and foster a positive, inclusive team culture: ensure all activities meet CBA’s risk appetite and regulatory obligations. Promote a culture of compliance and conduct and a collaborative and diverse workplace
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven sales mindset with a track record of achieving targets: you’re a self-starter who thrives on delivering results and exceeding expectations.
* Demonstrate methodical and proactive sales behaviours
* Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills: you know how to navigate complex organisations and build trust across all levels.
* Understanding of the NBFI sector and transaction banking products: you bring sector knowledge and product familiarity that enables meaningful client conversations.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and collaboration abilities: you’re clear, concise, and effective in both written and verbal communication, with strong planning and multitasking skills.
* Proactive approach with a strong sense of urgency: you anticipate needs, act quickly, and stay ahead of deadlines.
