The Opportunity
This is a newly created General Manager role with significant scope and autonomy. You'll lead the financial services function for a successful WA private business group operating primarily in the pharmacy sector alongside a broader SME client base.
As the business enters a new phase of scale and complexity, this position plays a key leadership role in expanding the client base and elevating service delivery through strong team leadership, technical capability and technology adoption.
The Role
Operating like an in-house accounting, bookkeeping and payroll firm, you'll lead teams in Australia and offshore delivering comprehensive business solutions to a substantial pharmacy client base plus a diverse portfolio of SME clients.
This goes beyond compliance. You'll drive improvements in systems, structure and technology to support your clients' growth. You'll ensure technical excellence while operating as a commercial partner and trusted advisor, providing valuable insights to help business owners achieve their goals and drive performance. Services span financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, accounts payable/receivable and compliance.
About You
You're an experienced accounting professional with outstanding people leadership capabilities seeking a senior opportunity in a growth business. You hold tertiary accounting qualifications (CPA/CA desirable) ideally with experience across both public practice and commercial environments.
