What will you do?
* Liaise with procurement and resort management to optimise purchasing strategies, negotiate cost‐effective purchases, and build strong supplier relationships
* Control expenditure and maximise operating profit through effective purchasing, accurate cost ratios (COS, stock turnover, values), and informed cost‐control decision making
* Ensure all goods and services are ordered via the purchase order system and review, code, and process invoices accurately in the inventory system
* Provide accurate purchasing and cost data to support Heads of Department in financial and stock control decisions
* Issue stocktake schedules and conduct monthly stocktakes for the main beverage store and staff shop
* Maintain accurate purchase order requisitions and inventory records for all stock items
More About You
* Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or inventory management, ideally in a resort or hospitality setting
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate and interpret cost ratios and stock turnover
* Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships
* Knowledge of inventory management systems and cost control software
* Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to multitask
* Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently
