About the Role
We are seeking an experienced nurse educator to join our team in a dynamic environment.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading nursing education and providing support to nursing staff through the provision of educational activities, workshops, and training programs.
* Develop and implement educational plans that meet the needs of enrolled, undergraduate, registered, and postgraduate nurses.
* Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the clinical environment.
* Collaborate with local area and organisational stakeholders to establish, implement, and evaluate plans that enhance the skills of nursing staff.
This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, think critically, and communicate effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Holding or working towards a Master of Nursing or Education degree.
* Previous experience in an education or education support role.
* Demonstrated extensive relevant clinical knowledge/experience in acute/sub-acute care nursing (relevant to the program) and in a clinical leadership role.
