- Make your mark and build a global brand
- Join an elite team at the interface of science, medicine and industry
With a small digital presence and a big story to tell - Translational Research Institute (TRI) has a unique opportunity for an innovative Digital and Brand Manager, ready to make their mark.
TRI is a leading Australian medical research, development, and translation facility, home to cutting-edge innovation. Situated on the Princess Alexandra Hospital Campus, TRI combines the research intellect and capability of Queensland Health, The University of Queensland, Queensland University of Technology, and Mater Research. Connecting scientists with clinicians, government, and industry, TRI provides access to research, clinical trials, manufacturing expertise along with world-class facilities that ultimately aim to translate to improved healthcare.
Reporting to the Director, of Corporate Affairs and Marketing, the objective of this role is to create and drive a multi-faceted digital and brand strategy that will help elevate awareness of TRI. Leading a small team, you will have a varied portfolio of responsibilities. One of your first priorities will involve stepping into a current website redevelopment project and seeing this through to execution. In addition to the external website, you will also play a pivotal role in the redesign of the organisation's intranet to better match internal stakeholder needs. Your flair for creative visual storytelling will be fully utilised as you showcase the incredible work of TRI-based clinicians and researchers, our amazing facilities and expertise, and the innovative partnerships and industry collaborations that take place here every day.
To succeed in this role, you should be a Digital and Brand leader with a track record of success in building brand awareness and executing successful digital strategies within a range of complex and sophisticated market segments that clearly demonstrate your adaptability from a regionalised niche market to impacting at a national and international level. And with an organisation dependent upon partner collaboration, you should have highly developed stakeholder engagement capability, demonstrated both externally and internally.
The advantages of working with TRI cannot be understated. You'll be working with incredibly talented leaders in science and medical innovation within a fantastic purpose-driven culture. You will have on offer a plethora of employee benefits including flexible working arrangements (i.e. compressed work-week upon request), fast-tracked LSL accessibility, and annual remuneration increments reflecting both cost-of-living and tenure.
