Join a senior leadership team as Director of Clinical Operations/Deputy General Manager, where you will act as the General Manager's second-in-command and play a pivotal role in overseeing the performance, governance and day-to-day operations of a complex, multi-site hospital network. You will lead access and patient flow, clinical governance, risk management, workforce capability and service planning to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality and timely care. Working closely with executive, clinical and district stakeholders, you will drive system-wide improvement initiatives, strengthen organisational resilience through effective emergency and continuity planning, and deliver key priorities including Safe and Timely Access to Care. This role also includes site leadership accountability and offers the opportunity to influence strategic direction, optimise resources and improve health outcomes for the community.

ISLHD operate four hospital sites in the Illawarra: Coledale District Hospital, Bulli District Hospital, Wollongong Hospital and Shellharbour Hospital.
