What You’ll Be Doing

As a Registered Nurse in Palliative Care at Moree Community Health Service, you’ll provide compassionate, holistic care to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses.

This is a role where your professionalism and empathy come together to make a genuine difference, every single day.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting palliative care clients across Moree, Mungindi, Boggabilla, Toomelah, and Warialda
- Providing patient-centred care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team (OTs, Social Workers, Dieticians, Oncology specialists, and Community Nurses)
- Supporting patients and families with end-of-life decisions, including advanced care directives and palliation
- Contributing to the quality and effectiveness of rural palliative care services

This is meaningful, hands-on nursing in a supportive and community-focused environment.

- *Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions. - This position is full time; however, part time/job share arrangements may also be considered.

Employment of a temporary visa holder will only be offered in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
