Job Opportunity: Strategic Educational Leader
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing student transitions from middle to senior school, developing tailored support plans for students with learning difficulties, coordinating the LIFT Plus program and implementing consistent strategies, managing flexible and modified SACE learning plans, liaising with external agencies and industry partners for student pathways, providing strategic direction for inclusive education and best practices, supporting staff in curriculum adjustments and pedagogical modifications, and monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records.
Collaboration with parents/caregivers is essential in supporting student learning and transitions. The successful candidate will also contribute to the academic growth of students requiring learning support by teaching and offering guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Student Transition Management: Oversee smooth transitions for students moving from middle to senior school, ensuring a seamless educational experience.
* Individualized Support Plans (ISPs): Develop and implement ISPs tailored to the unique needs of students with learning difficulties, promoting academic success and well-being.
* Program Coordination: Coordinate the LIFT Plus program and implement consistent strategies to support student learning and development.
* Learning Plan Management: Manage flexible and modified SACE learning plans, adapting to the diverse needs of students.
* External Partnerships: Liaise with external agencies and industry partners to explore student pathways and opportunities.
* Inclusive Education: Provide strategic direction for inclusive education, fostering a culture of equity and excellence.
* Staff Support: Collaborate with staff to adjust curricula and modify pedagogical approaches, enhancing student outcomes.
* Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor student progress, maintaining accurate records and identifying areas for improvement.
Candidate Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Proven experience in educational leadership and management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
