JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa is redefining the luxury day spa experience on the Gold Coastâ ̄with our innovative Spa by JW that soothes the mind, lifts the mood and re-energizes the body. It's all about demystifying the experience and deliveringâ ̄the fourâ ̄hallmarks of our treatment concept: Calm, Nourish, Invigorate, and Renew. A visit to the Spa by JWâ ̄is designed to enhance theâ ̄well-being of our mindful and fulfilledâ ̄guests.Â
About the role:Â
We are looking for exceptional spa therapists on a casual basis with availability across the whole week who have passion for the Spa industry and are able to create immersive experiences for the guests by providing quality treatments including facials, massage and body treatments in a luxurious and tranquil environment. Â
Critical responsibilities:Â
* Provide consultation and skin analysis prior to treatmentsÂ
* Provide body and facial waxing/tinting services, facial treatments, manicures and pedicures and spa ritualsÂ
* Suggests treatment plans for future re-bookings. Â
* Provide massage services to guests using props and/or products.Â
* Provide body treatments to guests using body scrubs, wraps, and/or hydrotherapy.Â
* Arrange workstation, treatment room, and/or drapes.Â
* Maintain cleanliness of workstation and/or treatment room throughout shift, dispose of trash and dirty linens, and secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shiftÂ
* Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, and pregnancy) before beginning service.Â
Successful Candidates will have:Â
* Recent experience as a beauty/spa therapistÂ
* Experience and confidence in spa treatments such as facials, massage and body treatmentsÂ
* Previous experience in a 5 star Hotel Property (highly regarded)Â
* Diploma in Beauty TherapyÂ
* You have excellent personal presentation standards and strong communication skillsÂ
* Able to anticipate guests needs and build genuine connectionÂ
* Reception experience in a similar environment is highly advantageousâ ̄Â
