We are an accounting firm based in Cairns, Far North Queensland.
Due to the fast growth of the firm and an internal promotion, we are seeking a motivated and energetic colleague to join our team at our Cairns office.
About the role
Your duties will include, but are not limited to :
Liaising with clients, including document collation;
Preparing invoices, and debtor management;
Assisting clients to access accounting and ATO software;
Attending to general communication with ATO and ASIC;
Liaising with, and providing administrative support to Indigenous Corporations;
Providing simple IT support to staff members;
Assisting the team of accountants with ad-hoc tasks; and
Other general administrative duties as required.

Skills and experience
Requirements :
Excellence with the Microsoft Office suite;
Adept at learning new software;
Must be proactive, organised and be self-motivated; and
Strong communication skills.
Desirable :
Experience in a professional environment;
Sound written and oral communication skills in a professional setting;
Beginner to intermediate IT skills; and
Familiarity with people from regional and remote communities.
