We are looking for a chef to join our close knit team at Palette in North Fremantle The role is part time to start (Thursday, Friday, Saturday evenings), with the opportunity for more hours or a full-time position for the right person.
About the role:
* Running dinner service with consistency and attention to detail
* Preparing and maintaining mise en place
* Working efficiently and cleanly under pressure
* Assisting with menu development and specials
* Maintaining high standards of food presentation, hygiene and safety
About you:
* Confident, organised and proactive in the kitchen
* Able to work independently and as part of a small team
* Previous experience in a similar role preferred
* Minimum 1-2 years professional kitchen experience required
* Passionate about quality produce and modern seasonal food
* Chef de Partie level experience required
Pay in line with the Restaurant/Tearoom Award, based on experience and skills.
No sponsorship opportunities at this stage, though this may be discussed in future for the right candidate.
Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
