The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network security infrastructures to protect sensitive data and systems.Key Responsibilities:Network Security Design & Implementation:Design and deploy network security solutions using Palo Alto firewalls and other related technologies.Configure and manage security policies, VPNs, and threat prevention settings.Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities using Palo Alto’s monitoring tools.Respond to security incidents, performing analysis and remediation as necessary.Security Audits & Compliance:Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Document security policies, procedures, and configurations.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security measures align with business objectives.Provide technical support and guidance to junior staff and other departments.Stay up to date with the latest security threats and trends, particularly related to Palo Alto products.Recommend improvements to security architecture and processes.Qualifications:3+ years of experience in network security engineering, specifically with Palo Alto Networks technologies.Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.Relevant certifications (e.g., Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer, CISSP, CEH) are highly desirable.Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.NV2 Security clearance.Skills:Proficiency in configuring and managing Palo Alto Networks firewalls.Knowledge of network security best practices and risk management.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Please apply today for immediate consideration.Seniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type ContractJob function Information TechnologyIndustries IT Services and IT Consulting#J-18808-Ljbffr
