And always.**Please note: we are particularity looking for professionals who have experience in either** **Semiconductor Cleanroom AND/OR Surface Mount Technology****Responsibilities include:** Support the introduction of new processes, equipment and materials, including equipment installation, calibration, WH&S assessments and associated technical and process documentation (e.g. Work Instructions, Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis) in accordance to Cochlear's QMS requirements.As we grow our operations, we are looking for people who share our passion for delivering quality hearing solutions to our customers. To add value to Cochlear in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical / Electrical / Biomedical / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.Shall have proven experience developing and introducing manufacturing processes.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams to ensure project deliverables are achieved.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPointExperience in a process development role within a highly regulated industry (Medical Device and/or Electronics Manufacturing industry experience preferred).Working knowledge of DFSS/DMAIC tools, KT Problem Solving & Decision Making, PDCA and DOE's and applying these tools in the characterization, optimization and troubleshooting of process equipment and technology performance.Experience working with statistical software (e.g. MINITAB) is desirable for this role.**Cochlear Summary**Cochlear's mission is to help people hear and be heard.
