Branch Supervisor
Basic Role description
The Branch supervisor is required to supervise the day-to-day operations of the branch, in a way which maximises the delivery of an effective and efficient service delivery to our customers. Primary accountabilities include achieving operational and safety KPI's
Basic Role Responsibilities
* Lead, develop and maintain a branch.
* Promote and maintain a culture of safety within the branch, including acting as the lead for any safety initiatives or actions within that branch.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key customers for the purpose of securing and extending existing business.
* Develop and implement systems that monitor the extent to which your branch is delivering the service, products and price required to meet and exceed customer requirements.
* Ensure timely interventions when standards fail to meet requirements.
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers where required to facilitate optimal cooperation and partnership, in supply continuity, customer satisfaction
* Support the branch with direction and focus by being the channel of communication inter-branch and with head office, and by balancing and prioritising the efforts of the internal branch departments
* Develop and maintain effective communication mechanisms intra-branch to ensure rapid and accurate communication of data and feedback, in a way which ensures the branch is aligned with company strategic objectives and customer needs.
* Attract, retain and motivate the best available team of employees to allow our client to set the market pace in customer service standards.
* Support the sales team to reach or exceed sales targets.
* Ensure performance standards and expectations are made clear to employees and that those standards are upheld.
* Ensure excellent customer service is consistently delivered.
* Minimise business costs by controlling stock losses, optimising stock levels and the coordination of ordering, receiving and delivery.
* Support the achievement of business expansion targets through close teamwork between your branch and the relevant Regional Business Developers.
* Liaise with Senior Management, Sales Managers and Other staff within the company on ways to improve the profitability and efficiency of the business.
* Carry out follow up Audits.
