Job Title: Compliance Specialist - Risk Management
About the Role:
This is a critical position that involves leading the implementation and continuous improvement of our compliance and risk management systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Integrated Management System accreditations (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001), internal audits, incident reporting, supplier due diligence, and key compliance platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and optimize the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) reporting platform (Donesafe), including analyzing trends, generating insights, and developing improvement strategies.
• Oversee Millennium's staff tracking systems (Nexus Webeye and Daelibs), ensuring data accuracy and generating compliance and performance reports.
• Lead the end-to-end management of public liability and property damage incidents, including investigation, reporting, and regulatory engagement.
• Manage and maintain operational risk registers in collaboration with key departments, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, monitored, and regularly reviewed.
• Maintain the Document Management System, ensuring controlled documents are current, accessible, and fit for purpose.
• Design and deliver compliance-related training and awareness programs to build capability across all levels of the organization.
• Manage the supplier registration and due diligence process, ensuring risks—particularly in relation to Modern Slavery and ethical sourcing—are identified, monitored, and mitigated.
• Contribute to the development and execution of our broader risk and compliance strategy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience in integrated management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001).
• Proficiency in online HSE software applications (Donesafe).
• Understanding of workplace health and safety obligations.
• Data analysis, visualization, and management skills using tools such as Excel or Power BI.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of contractor prequalification systems (Cm3, Avetta, etc.).
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively without direct supervision.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as business, law, or quality management.
