About the Role:
As a Field Services Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and seamless coordination of our plant and equipment hire services. Working closely with contractors, clients, and our internal teams, you will oversee operations in the field, ensuring equipment and services meet client expectations and compliance requirements.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the plant hire or civil construction industry who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key responsibilities:
* Maintain a high level of customer service that focuses heavily on both the client and the contractor's needs and requirements
* Coordinate and execute daily client orders with sensitive time restraints.
* Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service and to identify potential new sales opportunities
* Maintain detailed daily, weekly, and monthly job planning reporting
* Coordinate with other sales representatives to ensure that goals are being met and company standards are being upheld
Skills and experience
To excel in this role, you will need:
* Experience: A proven track record in a similar role within the plant hire, construction, or civil infrastructure industry. Sales and customer account management experience required.
* Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of plant and equipment hire processes and contractor management.
* Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
* Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues on-site.
* Organisation: Strong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
* Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant safety and compliance standards within the industry.
* Technical Skills: Competency in using technology and systems for reporting and communication purposes.
Qualifications:
* Relevant experience in plant hire, construction, or a similar field.
* Current driver's licence (essential).
* Construction induction card (White Card).
* Additional training or certifications in equipment operation or safety (desirable).
