What's the role?
This role is responsible for driving the successful delivery and value realisation of transformation initiatives within the enterprise portfolio. You will be supporting portfolio prioritisation, investment decision-making, and benefits tracking, while ensuring best practice standards, governance, and continuous improvement across all transformation activities.
Responsibilities will include:
* Support portfolio prioritisation, investment appraisal, and business case development for transformation initiatives.
* Track and report on benefits realisation and value delivery across the transformation portfolio.
* Prepare and deliver portfolio-level reporting, insights, and recommendations for governance forums and senior leadership.
* Identify and manage portfolio-level risks, issues, and interdependencies, escalating as required.
* Collaborate with business, technology, and portfolio teams to ensure effective stakeholder engagement and communication.
* Support the adoption and optimisation of digital tools (e.g., Planview) and automation to drive efficiency and transparency.
* Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in project and portfolio delivery.
What do I need?
To be successful in this position you will have hands on experience within large scale transformations and be able to deliver on budget transformation projects/ programs. You will also have a strong understanding of portfolio management, investment appraisals and benefits realisation. To be able to flourish in this position you should be analytical and data-driven with a passion for problem solving as well as have a strong understanding of transformation governance, standards and compliance.
Further skills and experience required:
* Prior experience of on-time, on-budget delivery of transformation projects/programs.
* Achievement of defined project/program and portfolio objectives and benefits.
* Ability to deliver timely and high-quality portfolio reporting and insights.
* Previous contributions to portfolio prioritisation and investment decisions.
* Benefits realisation and value delivery against approved business cases.
* Effective management of portfolio-level risks and interdependencies.
