This position offers a rewarding career in healthcare for a registered nurse looking to expand their skills and experience. The Acute Clinical Nursing Program is a 12-week program designed to help nurses transition back into the acute hospital setting.
* Program Overview
* The program is specifically designed for nurses who have been working outside of the acute hospital setting and want to revive their nursing career.
* Nurses will be placed at one of our acute/rehabilitation hospitals in a dedicated clinical area, where they will receive supernumerary time to assist their transition.
* A dedicated education program will also be provided to help nurses revive their acute skills.
Requirements
* To be eligible for the program, applicants must have current AHPRA registration.
* Applicants must also have working rights within Australia.
* In addition, applicants must have been working in areas of nursing outside of the acute hospital setting for 5 years or less.
* Current Working with Children's Check (Employee Version) is also required.
Program Details
* The program will run for 12 weeks.
* During this time, nurses will be required to attend all 6 study days, including Healthscope orientation.
* They must also be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week across the 7-day roster, excluding night duty.
