(Nurse Grade 7) * 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading * 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation * District and laundry allowances * Plus great Salary Packaging options to increase take-home pay * Flexible working arrangements may be available About your opportunity The Nurse Educator (NE) is a Registered Nurse working at an advanced level of practice, responsible for leading and delivering educational services that foster an evidence‑based learning culture for nurses and midwives across the Townsville Hospital and Health Service. Operating within the Clinical Education Service, the NE designs, implements, and evaluates clinical education programs that support professional growth and practice excellence. This role manages a dynamic portfolio that adapts to the evolving needs and priorities of the organisation. Requirements: * Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position and registration with AHPRA. * Travel: This position may be required to travel to (via small planes or ferry), and work at, other facilities located within the THHS, e.g., participate in clinical activities or meetings for planning, quality, performance and education. This may involve day and/or overnight stays. The successful applicant must be able to commit to this requirement. Highly desirable Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field. Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus.
