Hours Per Week: 32 (Job share may be considered for part-time hours)
Location: Blacktown Community Health Centre (and as required across WSLHD)
Where You'll Be Working
CAC podiatrists provide foot care at community health centres in Auburn, Blacktown, Castle Hill, Merrylands, Mount Druitt, and Parramatta, as well as through a home-visiting service for eligible clients who are housebound.
What You'll Be Doing
As part of the Chronic and Complex multidisciplinary team, you will:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients, including falls risk and pressure injury risk.
Provide assessment, intervention/treatment, and education for clients with foot health issues.
Work across various locations in WSLHD, including client residences and community health centres.
Essential Criteria
General Podiatry Registration with AHPRA.
Tertiary qualifications in Podiatry.
Selection Criteria
Demonstrated clinical experience and understanding of chronic and complex health needs within a community context.
Experience in podiatry assessment, intervention, and education.
Strong written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
Effective time management and prioritisation ability.
Involvement in quality improvement, evidence-based practice and professional development activities.
Computer skills, including experience with CHOC Cerner eMR or equivalent.
Valid current driver's licence and willingness to use it for work purposes.
