As the Finance Officer (Accounts Payable), you will play a key part in delivering accurate and efficient accounts payable services across the North West Hospital and Health Service. You'll ensure compliance, support staff across the organisation, and contribute to continuous improvement in financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Validate and process supplier invoices, staff claims, and supporting documentation in S/4HANA.
* Liaise with the centralised Accounts Payable team to ensure prompt invoice processing.
* Maintain accurate vendor records and assist with purchasing reports as required.
* Provide training and support to staff on procurement processes and S/4HANA workflows.
* Review and clear mismatched purchase order items and maintain Business Workflow Administration functions.
* Monitor purchasing procedures, identify issues, and assist with remedial actions.
* Maintain petty cash records, support end‑of‑month processing, and implement current work procedures.
* Participate in statewide financial forums and communities of practice.
* Contribute to a safe, culturally responsive, and inclusive workplace, supporting quality and compliance standards.
