Lamson Concepts is seeking a commercially and operationally capable General Manager – Future Managing Director to lead the next phase of growth for one of Australia's most established engineering solutions businesses.
Established in 1889, Lamson Concepts is a specialist integrator of advanced logistics and materials handling technologies. The company has built a strong reputation delivering innovative systems that support the efficient operation of hospitals and healthcare facilities across Australia.
As healthcare infrastructure continues to expand, Lamson is well positioned to play a leading role in the delivery of next-generation hospital logistics systems.
This role is a succession opportunity, with the successful candidate expected to transition into the Managing Director role.
THE ROLE
Reporting initially to the current Managing Director, the General Manager will take responsibility for the overall leadership and performance of the business, including:
* Sales growth and commercial strategy
* Engineering and technical services
* Operations and project delivery
* Service and maintenance operations
* Supply chain, purchasing and warehousing
* Financial performance and governance
The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team and work closely with major healthcare clients to deliver complex engineering and logistics solutions.

ABOUT YOU
We are seeking a senior leader who combines commercial capability, operational discipline and experience in technical or engineering environments.
You will likely bring:
* Senior leadership experience with full P&L accountability
* Experience managing sales, finance, engineering and operational teams, including procurement & warehousing
* Exposure to technical project delivery or systems integration environments
* Experience working with healthcare, infrastructure or institutional clients
* A track record of improving operational performance while driving revenue growth
Experience in industries such as engineering systems, automation, healthcare infrastructure, building services or industrial equipment will be highly regarded.
