Job Description:
We are seeking a talented professional to drive the growth and sustainability of South Australia's visitor economy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering investment opportunities and developing demand-driving tourism experiences.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Create high-quality tourism products and experiences through programs like the Experience Development Program and the Distribution Ready Program.
* BUILD strong relationships with stakeholders to attract and enable investment into South Australian tourism projects.
* Contribute to sector-specific projects and strategies that align with the objectives of the Destination Development Unit.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Strong leadership and guidance skills to increase business capabilities and experience saleability within all distribution channels.
* Ability to work collaboratively with government agencies, local government, and regional tourism authorities to partner and leverage experience development initiatives.
* Excellent research skills to identify product and experiences gaps and implement solutions.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills to increase South Australia's experience presence throughout domestic and international distribution channels.
Benefits:
This is a full-time, 5-year non-executive contract at a salary classification level of ASO6 ($98,478 – $104,165 per year).
