About the Building Commission NSW
Building Commission NSW (BCNSW) has been established after the NSW Government recognised the substantial progress made by Fair Trading and the Office of the Building Commissioner in delivering once-in-a-generation reforms of the building and construction industry. The new commission will not only be the industry regulator, but also a collaborator with consumers and industry to ensure standards, capabilities, capacity and resilience continue to be lifted across the sector to deliver quality homes and meet the state's housing targets. Responsibilities
* Manage the implementation and delivery of change programs and projects within the business applying sound project management principles and best practice methodologies
* Provide expert advice on the end-to-end change strategy, impact, change readiness, training needs and communication and engagement plans to support informed decision making
* Manage projects and oversee the consistent application of the DCS change framework and standards across all programs of work, to ensure consistent engagement and change management
* Maintain an understanding of BCNSW, challenges, and objectives to ensure CX projects are integrated effectively into the organisation's programs
To be successful in this role you will have
* Expert change management skills, with the ability to create and develop change management plans and strategies
* Demonstrated experience in providing specialist change advice and information on emerging project issues and present recommendations to inform decision making and mitigate the impacts of change to people and the business
* Excellent communication skills with ability to maintain effective working relationships with project team members and stakeholders to meet defined business needs
* Experience monitoring and reviewing programs and their implementation and progress, preparing reports and submissions to inform Business/Change Readiness and decision making
* A background or experience in human-centred design will be highly regarded

Salary Grade 09/10, with the base salary for this role starting at $129,464 base plus superannuation
