We are seeking proactive and highly organised Executive Assistant to support either the Business Transformation and Performance or Infrastructure and Natural Assets directorates.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, supporting strategic programs and organisational change initiatives.
About the Role
As the Executive Assistant, you will provide high‐quality executive, administrative, and coordination support to ensure the smooth operation of the directorate. This includes managing calendars and correspondence, preparing documents and reports, coordinating meetings and agendas, and handling confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
Reporting to the Business Manager (Directorate Performance), you will work closely with an Executive Officer to support the delivery of team priorities focused on supporting the performance of the directorate, taking on the delivery of improvement initiatives and opportunities for team events, connection and collaboration projects.
You will provide a first point of contact for organisational enquiries to the directorate, triaging and coordinating appropriate response actions.
About you
You will bring:
* Relevant qualifications in business administration or local government.
* Demonstrated experience providing executive or senior administrative support.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to liaise professionally across the organisation.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks calmly and effectively.
* Experience preparing documents, coordinating meetings, and managing information accurately.
* A proactive and adaptable approach within a large directorate.
