 
        
        Overview 
The role is with NWHHS in Mount Isa as a Mental Health Clinician. Applicants with qualifications in a recognised Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Health Practitioner discipline are encouraged to apply. The purpose of this role is to provide clinical expertise and consultancy through advanced clinical leadership relevant to the specialty of Mental Health. The Tackling Regional Adversity Through Connected Communities (TRACC) Clinician program supports individuals and communities across regional, rural, and remote Queensland to better manage adversity related to drought, disasters, and crises. 
Incentives and advantages 
- Regional, rural and remote incentives 
- 1 year: isolation bonus of AUD 3,500 
- 2 years: AUD 10,500 
- 3rd year and every year after: AUD 7,000 
In downtime, 2 return airfares per annum (including spouse/dependents) to the nearest east coast provincial city in conjunction with recreation leave; 5 weeks annual leave with a 17.5% loading/bonus. 
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution 
- Long Service Leave and Sick Leave accrual 
Staff accommodation (if eligible) or a private rental subsidy of AUD$82.50 per week for up to 17 months.

Requirements 
- Relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences 
- Class C Motor Vehicle Licence 
- Pre-employment screening including Criminal History checks 
- VPD risk role; may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis 
- Probation period may apply
