The Opportunity
In this senior business development position, you will develop strategies to identify and actively pursue new opportunities for the Resource Recovery business unit in both Sydney Metropolitan and Regional NSW areas. You will draw on your capacity to develop a comprehensive knowledge of our offerings and the ability to represent Veolia effectively; developing strong client relationships and generating productive leads. You will develop customer solutions based on your research and understanding of their particular needs and proactively bring these solutions to fruition. Your close relationships with your clients will allow you to monitor and address any customer services issues promptly and effectively.
What you'll be responsible for
* Maintain strong internal relationships with key Resource Recovery and other Veolia stakeholders
* Regular reporting and feedback for managers and other sales team members
* Strong customer focus and proactive and responsive problem solving
* Consistently profitable business growth
* Development of Junior Sales Representative
What you'll need to be successful
* Three years in an equivalent senior business development role with similar responsibilities
* Highly organised to react to a constantly dynamic customer base
* High level of knowledge across multiple waste streams
* Travel flexibility to manage geographically diverse customer interactions
* High level of time management skills to manage conflicting priorities
