Wildlife Specialist
This role involves delivering projects related to fauna spotter catching and wildlife relocation services, threatened species surveys and monitoring, flying-fox management and monitoring, bird management and monitoring, pest animal management and monitoring in a field-oriented environment.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have:
* a construction industry white card
* ability to work remotely and autonomously in physically challenging environments
* clear communication skills in diverse work environments
* willingness to travel and be away from home for short periods
Key Skills and Qualifications
* an open manual driver's license
* four-wheel driving experience/certification
* a current first aid certificate
* venomous snake handling certification
* working safely at heights certification
* chainsaw accreditation
* pre-clearance survey/threatened species experience
* spotter catcher and/or wildlife handling experience
* demonstrated fauna identification and habitat assessment skills
* experience working on construction projects
