Allstone is looking for an experienced Design Consultant to join our Hindmarsh studio as we expand our natural stone and slab offering in 2025–26.
The Company
Allstone supplies premium natural stone products including porcelain slabs sourced from around the world for residential and commercial projects.
We work closely with architects, designers, builders, landscapers and homeowners, offering a consultative, high-service experience.
About the role:
You'll be the first point of contact for clients in our design studio — delivering a personalised, solution-focused experience.
Your role will include:
* Consulting with clients to select stone products for kitchens, bathrooms, outdoor areas and architectural projects
* Providing advice on stone types, finishes, applications and sealers
* Preparing basic take-offs and quotations
* Managing enquiries via showroom, phone and email
* Delivering consistently high-quality customer service
This role suits someone who enjoys people, products and projects — not hard sales.
Skills and experience:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in retail or service roles within building, design or construction products
* Comfortable using MS Office and inventory systems
* Ability to read plans and assist with take-offs (preferred, not essential)
* Background or exposure to interior design, landscaping or the building trade
* Strong attention to detail and time management
* Friendly, professional and confident communicator
* Enthusiastic, reliable and keen to learn
Candidates must be available to work 3 days during the week and rostered Saturday mornings.
