The Flying Horse in Warrnambool is seeking an experienced Full Time Bistro Manager to drive the team in providing a warm welcome and impeccable service to our customers.
At the Flying Horse, we pride ourselves on quality food, beverage and customer service and are looking for an experienced hospitality professional to join our team on a full time basis. We are currently seeking applications from experienced bistro supervisors looking to take the next step in their career.
About the role:
Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will supervise general Bistro operations.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee general restaurant operations
* Supervise restaurant staff, conducting training as required
* Assist front of house staff as necessary with greeting guests and taking reservations
* Communicate with patrons to ensure a high-quality service and satisfaction upon completion of meals
Ideally you will have (qualifications):
* Previous supervisory experience in running successful bistro operations in a busy restaurant.
* Outstanding customer service and engagement and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
* The ability to lead by example, with drive, enthusiasm and attention to detail.
The successful candidate will possess:
* Have previous experience in providing exceptional customer service in a supervisory role.
* Have previous hospitality experience.
* Be adept at maintaining a positive team environment.
* Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Display exceptional presentation and grooming standards.
* Have a flexible approach, with availability including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
* Hold a current RSA.
