About The Role
Are you a driven operations leader with a passion for efficiency, customer satisfaction, and team development? We’re seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day execution of our Moving Services operations across the AU NZ region. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless delivery of domestic and international relocations, managing people and processes to deliver excellent service, control costs, and maintain high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic direction and leadership across domestic and international moving operations.
* Oversee efficient planning and execution of removals and relocations, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
* Manage daily scheduling, equipment utilisation, and operational workflow to meet performance and budgetary targets.
* Build strong relationships with customers, internal teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery of services.
* Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
* Support claims management, addressing customer complaints efficiently and effectively.
* Ensure a safe and compliant work environment through proper training, supervision, and equipment maintenance.
* Oversee and develop a team of operational staff including schedulers, removalists, and subcontractors.

* Proven experience in operational management, preferably in logistics, transport, or relocation services.
* Excellent customer service skills and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.
* Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to lead diverse teams and manage external stakeholders.
* Well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
* Effective time management and attention to detail.
* A proactive approach to process improvement and system optimisation.

You’ll collaborate closely with peer leaders including the National Operations Leader, National Training Manager, In-Home Sales Leader & team, Branch Administrators, State Commercial Managers, and Customer Experience Leaders.
