Engineering Design Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Design Specialist to support our capital equipment sales by selecting, laying out, and designing high-quality mining equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collate and assess project data, checking feasibility and fitment for existing products.
2. Create custom engineering designs tailored to customer requirements.
3. Develop equipment layouts and specifications for handing over to the detailed design team.
4. Estimate equipment costs.
5. Evaluate liner compatibility with our equipment.
6. Produce customer-facing engineering drawings.
7. Collaborate with the Applications Engineering team and other departments.
8. Maintain quality and efficiency in design work.
9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean philosophy.
10. Travel domestically and internationally for site visits.
