Based in Tranmere, as our invaluable Accounts Payable Officer, you will responsible for contributing to the effectiveness and efficiency of the accounts payable function and the timeliness, accuracy, and integrity of the monthly financial reporting.
You'll also make an impact by:

* Ensuring appropriate authorisation of invoices in line with documented policies and procedures
* Accurate reconciliation of vendor statements and follow up of outstanding invoices.
* Ensuring effective and timely communication with sites and services regarding month end close off
* Responding to all customer queries and complaints, providing prompt resolution

What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:

* Demonstrated experience in a similar role, including accounts payable processing and use of computerised accounts systems
* Demonstrated understanding and application of basic accounting principles
* Ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation
* Demonstrated skills and experience in the use of the Microsoft Office suite
* Sound written and oral communication skills which result in effective and appropriate communication with a broad range of people, including older people and their families, staff, and external agencies
* Ability to initiate and maintain effective working relationships at any level within a large-scale organisation.
* A valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:

* Minimum of 2 year's experience working in a similar role
* Experience working in the aged care or health industry with an understanding of business and financial tools
* Appropriate post-secondary studies
