The Chance
Based permanently in Geraldton, you will take charge of daily site operations, managing a dedicated team of approximately 6 staff. The role focuses on driver coordination, incident management, monthly SHEQ reporting and toolboxes, ensuring operational excellence.
• Monday to Friday 9 am – 5 pm site‑based role with on‑call for out‑of‑hours issues.
What you'll be responsible for
- Manage daily fleet and driver scheduling
- Responsible for all site operations, including reporting on financial performance and reviewing operating costs
- Coordinate driver documentation and safety
- Lead team training and safety meetings
- Ensure HSE compliance
- Process maintenance and supply orders
- Track and report incidents
- Foster safety culture and customer service excellence
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery while maintaining customer service requirements
What you'll need to be successful
- Desirable HR licence
- Understanding of the waste or transport and logistics industry
- Demonstrable experience of team management
- Experience in responding to customers' commercial and operational requests and reporting
