Role Title
C4AI – Solution Architect Senior Manager / Associate Director
Group Description
The Data & AI Solution Architect is responsible for combining technical, commercial, and industry expertise to develop solutions to complex challenges aligned to business objectives and strategy. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business problems and requirements, designing solutions including technical architectures, and guiding teams through implementation.
The focus of this role is the Financial Services industry; we are seeking deep domain expertise related to key industry challenges and opportunities, data domains, and common technology systems and patterns.
Role Responsibilities
1. Lead cross-functional teams to understand client business problems and organizational strategy and define solutions to these.
2. Design and document end-to-end architecture and solution designs, both to address specific use cases and also to create reusable solution blueprints.
3. Lead implementation of designed architectures, collaborating closely with engineering teams, data scientists, and product owners to deliver business value from initial build through the full platform lifecycle, ensuring on-time, high-quality, and cost-effective outcomes.
4. Mentor and coach junior architects to build capability.
5. Design solutions to be compliant with data privacy, security, and governance expectations.
6. Require 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
Key Skills
1. Deep hands-on data and AI architecture and engineering (Professional level certification and experience).
2. Experience with multiple data platforms and technologies (e.g., Google, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Teradata, Informatica).
3. Expertise in infrastructure as code, DevOps, and DataOps to build secure, automated, and maintainable platforms.
4. Ability to design for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
5. Familiarity with modern architectural styles and patterns, especially related to data and integration.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
7. Experience leading multi-location teams.
8. Enthusiastic about mentoring and providing technical leadership.
9. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience presenting to executive stakeholders.
10. Interest in industry trends and emerging technologies for continuous optimization and innovation.
