Job Overview:
The Bulk Material Movement (BMM) work package is a key opportunity to optimize the closure phase of an important mine site.
This role involves leading the development and implementation of the BMM plan to construct the Final Landform across the disturbed mine site, rehabilitating pits, ponds, stockpiles, and facilities.
Key responsibilities include coordinating engineering activities, managing specialist technical contractors, providing technical support to construction teams, developing project schedules, and conducting independent civil/structural BMM work.
Requirements include a bachelor's degree in mining engineering, geology, or a related field, 10-13 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Block modeling and Geospatial analysis using software environments such as Maptek's Vulcan package.
