Damage Control Accident Repair Centre is seeking a full-time skilled and experienced Estimator to join our team in Forrestdale, WA. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in the process of the repair and restoration of vehicles, providing accurate and comprehensive estimates to our customers. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring a smooth and satisfactory experience for all.
Permanent residency status is required for this position.
What you'll be doing
* Inspect damaged vehicles and prepare detailed estimates for repair costs
* Liaise with customers, insurers, and other stakeholders to ensure all repair information is accurately documented
* Collaborate with the repair team to ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, repair methods, and new technologies
* Provide excellent customer service and manage customer expectations throughout the repair process
* Assist with the administrative tasks related to the estimating process
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years of experience as an Estimator or in a similar role within the automotive repair industry
* Specific experience in an Estimator role is required for this position
* Excellent understanding of vehicle repair methods, parts, and pricing
* Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and comprehensive estimates
* Proficient in using estimating software and tools. Knowledge of Parts check, ibody, 1Q1, Estimage and Audanet preferable.
* Proficiency in any industry standard estimating software is required
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other departments
* Commitment to providing high-quality work and exceeding customer expectations
