The RoleAs the D365 Functional Consultant for Supply Chain & Production, you will be the internal expert and process lead for critical operational modules within D365 FinOps.
You will work closely with our D365 Project Manager, Change Manager other functional consultants, vendors and global stakeholders to ensure our platform is implemented consistently, optimised effectively, and adopted across all regions.This role is ideal for someone with strong D365 SCM/Production experience, especially in manufacturing environments, who can translate operational needs into scalable D365 solutions.Functional LeadershipAct as the internal lead for D365 modules across: Supply Chain Management, Production Control, BOMs & Routing, Engineering Change Management, Inventory & Warehouse Management, Asset ManagementOwn functional design, configuration, documentation, and continuous improvement.Project & Implementation SupportSupport global rollout activities including requirements gathering, solution validation, CR reviews, testing, data migration, cutover, and hypercare.Participate in sprint cycles, design workshops, and backlog refinement.Collaborate with technical teams, integrators, and vendors to ensure end-to-end solution integrity.Conduct Key User Training (KUT), UAT support, and functional troubleshooting.Develop SOPs, training material, and process documentation.Drive system adoption and standardisation across multiple sites and business units.Identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce complexity, and extend D365 usage.Analyse functional issues, propose solutions, and ensure alignment with global process standards.You will be successful in this role if you have:Experience4–8+ years in D365 F&O / AX12 within manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain environments.Hands-on configuration experience in Production, Inventory, Engineering or Warehousing.Experience participating in end-to-end D365 implementations (requirements ? go-live ? hypercare).
