About the Role
JAX Tyres & Auto Geelong is excited to welcome a new experienced Wheel Aligner/Tyre Fitter to join their friendly team due to continued growth. In this role, you will use your expertise to safely fit and repair tyres, while working in a well-equipped and organised workshop. You will work closely with the workshop to deliver the best service to our customers, ensuring everyone leaves our store with peace of mind.
Your main day-to-day duties would include:
* Identifying faults in vehicle stability and tyre wear
* Fitting, balancing, repairing and servicing tyres
* Carrying out wheel Alignments and other wheel/suspension related services
* Providing your expert advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks of your customer's vehicles
* Safely operating hoists and conducting road tests as required
* General House Keeping
About you
* 3 years of Prior experience working as a Wheel Aligner/Tyre Fitter
* Available Saturdays
* Excellent problem-solver and pay attention to detail
* You can work cooperatively in a team environment and unsupervised
* Have excellent communication skills
* Knowledge of WH&S in a workshop environment
* Australian driver's licence (Required)
* Must have permanent working rights in Australia
